Freestyle Fitness Yoga
Freestyle Fitness Yoga is a fitness programme that targets flexibility, core stability and strength. It incorporates deep stretch, Yoga postures & Pilates exercise.
Freestyle Fitness Yoga in itself is very similar to Yoga with its breathing techniques and styles offering postures that incorporate strength and stability sequenced together to the beat of the music making transitions seamless and graceful. It has been designed with modern fitness perspectives in mind adopting teaching methods that reflect the traditions of Yoga in a more contemporary and social environment.
Freestyle Fitness Yoga targets all cores to positively enhance the body's postural muscles within the workout.
It is suitable for all age ranges and abilities as it can be taught on many different levels. However, if you are in any doubt, it is always advisable to check with your GP before undergoing any exercise program.
Classes Wednesdays and Thursdays
Fitness Pilates is challenging yet safe exercise that promotes a balanced body, a longer, leaner, toned shape, superb posture, a flat stomach, a strong back and increased mobility and flexibility. It also increases strength and endurance, improves balance and co-ordination, all without producing over developed or bulky muscles.
Our aim with Fitness Pilates is to redress the balance in muscle tone by using stretching exercises to lengthen tight muscles, combined with strengthening exercises to increase the tone of lax muscles.
Each exercise can be done at different levels of intensity with additional modifications to cater for anyone with specific muscular or joint limitations.
Fitness Pilates classes are suitable for everyone regardless of age, sex and level of fitness.
